Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the different kinds of carriages that you offer?
We offer horse carriage rides that suit any size party for any occasion: Our Small Carriage accommodates groups of 2-6 passengers. Our Big Carriage is designed for parties of 12-14 people. Our Wagonette's long bench-style seats are perfect for up to 16 people. Our People Wagon is a popular choice for larger events, comfortably carrying up to 20 passengers. Check out the "Our Rides" page from the menu to view some pictures and get some ideas for what carriage-style would best fit your needs.
  • What kinds of events and occasions do you service?
We are happy to provide our services for almost any imaginable event. The most common bookings include: 1. Family Celebrations Weddings Birthday Parties Anniversaries Reunions Engagements 2. Holiday Festivities Valentine's Day New Year's Eve Botanical Gardens (Light Show) Rides With Santa 3. Anytime Fun Parades Neighborhood Parties Company Picnics Just for Fun 4. Other Graduations Proms Funerals
  • What should I bring along with me on the carriage ride?
The most important thing is to dress according to the weather. We will provide blankets for chilly temperatures; however, it's always a good idea to check the forecast leading up to the day of your scheduled ride. Some other items that passengers typically pack include: Cooler of beverages Snacks Umbrella (for rain or sun) Extra money (if you would like to make any additional stops) Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for any additional carry-on suggestions.
  • How long do the rides typically last?
The ride lengths can vary to meet your event's needs. Some people book us for the entire day, while others only want a short ride of an hour or two. We can be as flexible as you need us to be with our scheduling.
  • What is your weather-related cancellation policy?
The most important thing to us is the safety of our passengers and the safety of our horses. If the weather at the time of the ride, or the forecasted weather leading up to the ride, puts anyone in danger, we will cancel and reschedule. However, our horses are trained to pull in cold, wet, and windy weather. And sometimes, believe it or not, these conditions actually make for the most fun and memorable rides.
  • How far outside of the Green Bay Area do you take bookings?
We are happy to travel with our horses to your event. However, the farther away from the Green Bay Area, the more we will have to charge for transportation expenses. We will be happy to discuss these details and give a more precise estimate at the time of the booking.
